All reservations require a valid credit card at the time of booking.

If you've booked through Booking.com or Expedia, please review the booking terms and conditions on those sites, noting that they cannot be transferred.

Cancellations on Standard Rates

At the time of reservation, a credit card is required to secure the booking. No charges will be made to the card until check-out, plus any on-site charges.

  • No penalty for cancellations made 14 days or more before 11:00 PM EST on the day of check-in.

  • Cancellations between 14 and 7 days before check-in are subject to a 50% charge, applicable as credit for future stays (expires after 1 year).

  • Cancellations less than 7 days before check-in or no-shows will incur a 100% charge, applicable as credit for future stays (expires after 1 year).

Cancellations on Pay-Up Front and Special Rates

Your card will be charged at the time of booking. Changes permitted under the following conditions:

  • Booking conditions remain unchanged.

  • Date change allowed once and must be rebooked at the time of cancellation.

  • Changes subject to availability and rate adjustments.

Cancellations on Last-Minute Rate

Non-refundable and non-transferable. All sales final.

Early Check In

Early check in is not always possible so please check before arrival to see if your room will be available earlier than 3pm. Contact reservations@yarrany.com or message (845) 513-9044.

Noise at The Yarra

Unless you have purchased a full buyout (not the same as booking all four rooms), we host dinners on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Dinners finish at around 10.30 pm /11 pm.

Outside Food & Drink

Wine, beer, and cider is sold on premise. If dining with us, no alcoholic beverages purchased outside of the premises are permitted.

During dining room hours (Thursday to Saturday, 5.30 pm to 10 pm), outside food and beverages are not permitted in the public areas of the inn.

Smoking

The Yarra is a non-smoking property. If evidence is found during your stay or after your departure that someone from your party was smoking inside the property, your credit card will be charged an additional $250.00 for professional carpet, upholstery, and drapery cleaning.

Pet Policies

Please let us know at the time of booking that you will be bringing a dog.

  • Dogs are welcome at The Yarra but they must be fully trained and leashed by guests in the common areas.

  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dog on the property and in the neighborhood.

  • Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.

  • Guests are responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.

  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Yarra, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's pet.

  • The Yarra reserves the right to charge guest's account commensurate to the cost of such damages.

Safety

All rooms contain fire escape maps, fire extinguishers, and escape ladders that can be fixed to a window in case you cannot exit down the main stairs.

Turndown Service & Housekeeping

The Yarra doesn't offer turndown service. If you require fresh towels or the coffee/tea making stationed refreshed during your stay, then ask a staff member.

Pack N Play / Fold Away Beds

The Yarra does not have Pack N Plays or fold away beds. If bringing your own Pack N Play, for safety reasons, please book the Blue or White Rooms.

EV Charging Stations

There is a Tesla charging station located at The Roscoe Diner (1908 Old Rte 17, Roscoe, NY 12776), which is a short 1-minute drive from the inn. Evolve (1933 NY-52, Liberty, NY 12754) and Greenspot (101-105 Crestview Dr, Liberty, NY 12754) Charging Stations are located in Liberty, roughly 20-minutes from the inn.

Refrigerator

There is a small guest refrigerator with limited space.
