With four private rooms, The Yarra is a simple way to keep your closest guests together for a wedding, celebration, or weekend in the Catskills. Hold up to all four rooms, and let your guests book and pay for their own stay.

How It Works

Five steps, start to finish

  1. 1 Tell us about your gathering. Complete the short inquiry form with your dates and how many rooms you would like.
  2. 2 We set up your block. Up to all four rooms, with a two-night minimum, at a rate set specifically for your block.
  3. 3 You share a private booking link. We send a link just for your guests, showing only your block rate.
  4. 4 Guests book and pay for themselves. Each guest reserves their own room and gives their own card details at the time of booking. We do not ask for a credit card from the couple, or whoever is organizing the block, at any stage.
  5. 5 Rooms are held until two months before your event. Anything still unbooked then returns to general availability, and nothing is owed on it.

Good to Know

The details people usually ask about

  • No additional fees. Guests pay the room rate plus applicable New York sales and occupancy tax.
  • No minimum spend or attrition. Nothing is charged to the organizer, and you are not responsible for rooms that go unbooked.
  • Rates are not fixed in advance. Each guest pays the block rate in place at the time they book, so the rate may change between your inquiry and your event.
  • Every room has a private bathroom. Four rooms in total, so the weekend stays personal rather than crowded.
  • The inn runs as usual. That includes our seasonal Saturday Supper Club dinners in the restaurant.
