Private dinners at The Yarra are centered around a shared meal prepared in-house and served with an easy, welcoming rhythm. The evening is exclusive to your group, allowing the table to feel personal, celebratory, and unrushed.

Menus are seasonal and multi-course, with drinks available as curated packages or additions to suit the occasion.

Guest Count & Minimum

Private dinners are available for groups of 4–12 guests, with an 8-person minimum charge. The food minimum is $680, regardless of final party size. This allows us to reserve the space and staff the evening exclusively for your group.

The Menu

Each dinner features a seasonal multi-course menu created by our kitchen. A proposed menu is shared in advance for review and approval. We are happy to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions with notice, while keeping the meal cohesive for the table.

Beer & Wine

Fasoli Gino Pinot Grigio, Nicolas Potel Beaujolais-Villages, local beer, and still & sparkling water.

Beer, Wine & Welcome Cocktail

Includes beer and wine, plus one seasonal welcome cocktail per guest.

Elevated Wine Package

$48

Upgraded wines selected to pair with the menu, with either a sparkling welcome pour or enhanced wine offerings throughout the evening.

Additional bottles, cocktails, or pairing options may be added upon request.

Policies

Availability

All private dinners are subject to availability and confirmation by The Yarra.

Tax & Gratuity

New York State sales tax and a 20% service gratuity are added to all private dinners.

Deposit & Payment

To confirm the reservation, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance, including the selected drinks package, is due the day before the dinner. In the event of cancellation, the deposit is retained, and any payments beyond the deposit are refunded.

Booking Window

Private dinner bookings are accepted up to five days in advance to allow time for staffing and sourcing ingredients.
